Beboy's Music
These are practice sessions and demos. Sometimes I am improvising ideas or practicing techniques (over and over and over). There is lots of sloppiness.
These were all recorded during an era where it was expensive and complicated to be able to make a finished song at home, so my intention was not to record pristine tracks. These were just practice recordings so I could hear where I needed to improve.

It is a British Cinematic Rock song but I couldn't think of how to make it unusual and give it a flavor of my own. So I slowed it down and added Native American vocals, singing authentic Native American songs and chants. I layered several different vocals, each singing a different song. I think it works but it may be hard to listen to because our ears are not used to that type of singing. Also, I tuned the vocals to A flat minor, while the song is in D major changing to E minor at the end. A flat minor doesn't fit in that key, but to my ears it sounded best. This causes some tension in the song but I think the singing style when mixed with this style of pentatonic rock music causes tension no matter what.
